Uc-cc-uc

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew anything about whether transferring from a uc to a community college to a uc was viewed as simply a cc-uc transfer or do they look back into the original uc as well?

please no advice on my life choices, i have my reasons for doing this, i realize it isn't ideal but if anyone could maybe just shed some light I'd be really grateful :)

you get the same treatment as a cc-uc student if you complete a full year (both fall and spring semesters) or if you complete 30 units at a cc.(I think it might be that the last 30 units were completed at a cc)

I transferred from UCSB -> CCC -> UC Berkeley. You only need to attend CCC for 1 year to get CCC priority. So i attended UCSB from fall 07-> Spring 08 and then i attended CCC fall 08 and spring 09(this semester). I will be attending UC Berkeley this upcoming fall.

^ agreed, also congrats JetForcegeminix. Priority is given after just one year of attendance at ccc.

I’m UCR -> CC -> UCSD. As long as you complete 2 semesters excluding summer at CC, you are considered a CC student and will have the priority (like the guy said above me).

When i went to the office of undergraduate admissions to ask about the 2 semester requirement the admission officer told me that they don’t even care about the 2 semester requirement even though its on the website. They said they’d give priority to anyone with 30 units from a CCC.
