If I go to UC Davis now, (freshman)

then I went to OCC Community college down in Irvine (2nd year), wanting to transfer to UC Irvine (3rd year, kind of like junior transfer)

If I complete 30 credits at OCC, would i be considered as every other applicant? Could I set up a TAG agreement?

If you complete 30 semester units or one year a community college you’re considered a CC applicant, so yeah you can get TAG.
just wondering though, why not do a UC-UC transfer? Davis -> Irvine shouldn’t be too hard if your GPA is decent.

i know it isn’t ideal, but I can’t stay at Davis another year for personal reasons. will this look bad at all?

[UC Irvine Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Fall 2009](http://www.admissions.uci.edu/admissions_info/transfer_admission/tag.html)

you can’t do TAG with UCI if you have attended another 4 year institution (UC Davis). I went to UCSB to a CCC and am now going to attend UC Berkeley in the fall so it can work out if you try hard enough.

the only UCs u can tag with 4 year institution credits are UCSD and UCSB…trust me, if i could tag UCI, I would’ve done it longgg agoooo

just do UC-UC.

You can even transfer as a sophomore. That’s what I did from UCD.
