I seriously think you have a high chance of getting in to all of these schools. If you got your SAT score a bit higher (or maybe a good ACT score) I would suggest trying for Stanford since you are looking in state anyways. Make sure you focus on your ec’s…remember, participation is not nearly as important as what do you in the club.

thanks!
i definitely agree with you about looking into Stanford and the ec’s ^

anyone else??

Wow… great GPA and SAT’s and Valedictorian!

From one Val to another…Go For It!

UC Berkeley -very very possible (mention the “legacy”)
UC Los Angeles -yes
UC San Diego-yes
UC Irvine-yes

I agree about Stanford. Write an amazing essay and you could get in!
Good Luck!
Chance me thanks!

Easily in at all those schools.

id say a low reach on UC berkeley, but most likely in on the others. just dont screw up on essays^^ u should try for more competitive schools!

good chance for all of them.. except UC caps the weighted gpa at 8 extra points for AP classes, so yours would only be a 4.4

I dont know why they would say maybe for Cal. Your in. 99% sure you’re in. Your in Youth and Government?! So am I! What delegation are you in?

cool thanks so much guys and girls i appreciate the input
and fyi im not only looking at UC schools in California, i’m also looking at Stanford and CalTech and a few out of state schools but i just wanted to know my chances at the UCs

thanks again!

UC Berkeley - reach, but since your legacy, perhaps you’ve got a better chance
UC Los Angeles - lower reach too
UC San Diego - i think match
UC Irvine - match

btw…i wouldn’t “plan” for a 2350 on the SAT, its pretty darn hard. If you can get above 2200, you’ll be fine.
