Major: PolSci or Economics maybe?

I would like to apply to
UCB
UCLA(1st choice)
UCSD
UCI
UCD.

I'm also applying to
USC
NYU Stern
GTown

Though I doubt I'll have a chance with the last 2. Any other private match recommendations welcome as well.

Be as harsh as you want to be because I deserve it =P. I just want an honest evaluation of my chances as to know where to apply and where to place my expectations. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Since you seem to be undecided about majoring in business, economics or political science, you need to know that, of the colleges listed below, only UCB, USC, NYU, and Georgetown have undergraduate business schools, so you will have to major in Econ or Poli Sci at the others.

UCB--Slight Reach
UCLA--Slight Reach
UCSD--Match to Slight Reach
UCI--Match
UCD--Match
USC--Slight Reach
NYU (Stern)--Match to Slight Reach (you could probably get into NYU CAS easily if you went for Economics or Poli Sci, but unfortunately if you want to go into business, NYU has a very strict policy about not allowing students to transfer from any of the other colleges into Stern or Tisch).
Georgetown--Slight Reach

psychopath1:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCI/UCD: Safe Match

Out of curiosity, what high school do you go to? I go to school in san francisco.

what hurts you the most is your gpa (which UC's highly emphasize)..other than that it looks impressive

thx for the feedback guys
