I am going into my senior year at a California high school. Can I get into UC Berkeley and UCLA? I would fall back on UCSD and I also would like to know if I could get into any Ivys, even if it were just schools like Cornell and Dartmouth.

EDIT: If I calculated my weighted UC GPA correctly, it is 105/24 = 4.375

What are my chances for UC Berkeley and UCLA first of all, and what about the other colleges I mentioned? Thanks!

Considering your SAT score and your course load, I would say you have a very good chance at UCLA and Berkeley. I would give you this:
UCLA: match/high match
Berkeley: match/high match

you seem like a great fit for both. UCs are a bit stupid and focus a ton on numbers, but you have great ECs too. I’d say match for both, though a slightly tougher one on Berkeley. Also, it all depends what your major will be. If you’re applying into EECS you’re going to have a tough time explaining multiple Bs in math classes.

I think you have a high chance at both. You will probably get into at least one of them. And you will definitely get into UCSD. For Ivys, they’re always a crapshoot but you could apply to maybe some lower ones like Cornell, dartmouth, brown, etc. but it would depend on your essays. I think you would have a much better chance at other private schools like Pomona college, BC, USC, Vanderbilt, NYU, maybe georgetown or northwestern (those are all slight-mid reaches, but I would say you have a good shot at getting into at least one) Also, do you have a chance at being recruited for track? Oh and what’s the name of the internship you’re doing at Stanford? Just wondering :)

The internship is BTE-SV (Bridge to Employment-Silicon Valley) and it’s about studying host cell quality control in the secretory pathway. This is the handout for it:

EDIT: And I am being recruited for track, but not to any college I really wanna go to… like for example Boulder in Colorado emailed me just a few days ago…
