EC: volunteer at UCSD, 4 years of lacrosse 3 years varsity 2 years captain, Work Experience with a research group, Internship with Optometrist, Internship at Qualcomm, etc.
Personal Statement: Very Strong (at least I think it is)</p>

<p>Based on Average GPA for Freshman 2014:
UCB/UCLA/UCSD: Reach (Need UC GPA 4.1+)
UCI/UCD/UCSB: Low Reach/High Match (Need UC GPA 4.0+ and will depend upon your essays)
UCSC: Match
UCR/UCM: Low Match</p>
<p>Other than your UC GPA, your Stats are competitive, unfortunately UC’s weigh GPA more heavily than test scores. Your EC’s and essays will have more of an impact with the more holisitic schools such as UCLA/UCB and UCSB, so they definitely could give you a boost. It will also depend upon your major. For STEM and impacted majors, you need to be above the average.</p>
