<p>How competitive is admissions to chemistry grad programs at the UCs? I know Berkeley is one of the best and obviously extremely competitive, but how about such schools as UCLA, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Irvine, etc.? Does anyone know the profile of a typical student admitted to any of these UCs for chemistry?</p>
