Dear All,
How does UC calculate the GPA for the applicants? I know that the formula itself is there in Rogerhub. But here are my questions:
- Do we need to use only the coursework from 10th and 11th grade?
- There is only a max of 8 credits for the AP coursework, correct?
- Does UCLA calculate the GPA differently? In some videos, they were saying that they give credit for “all” the AP courses taken between 10th and 11th. Is that true? The published GPA numbers for 2018 indicate this is the case. (Admitted GPA range starts at 4.38 for 25%)
- If someone takes advanced courses from the community college but does not conform to A-G courses, then it does not count for GPA calculation, correct?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
