UC / Columbia Personal Statement

Hey, I'm not really sure if my personal statement is ... well, deep enough for Columbia or the UCs. I feel kinda juvenile now, after I wrote it and see all these other people talking about all these high reaching topics, like competition being a negative, and racism, and so many seemingly worldly topics while my essay is solely secular.

The prompt is basically tell us about a moment that has changed your life, and tell us how.

Any reads? <500 words

Please and thank you.

I can read it! Ill give some insight, as I have experience with the UC prompts.

Thanks a bunch, anyone else?

I'm happy to read it if you want, but I'm an '09er but my essays are already written and pretty particular to my situation... (US citizen living abroad)

Sure, I'd love to read it... and if you’re worried about people stealing your essay feel free to email me at my school account... but I'd prefer a pm
