I assume you are talking about the University of California system.

The essay questions for the UCs can be found at [University of California - Admissions](<a href=“http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/how_apply/personal_statement.html]University ”>http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/how_apply/personal_statement.html )

There are two of them for freshmen, so you will be turning in 2 essays. The UCs have their own online application, which can be found at [University of California - Admissions](<a href=“http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/apply_online.html]University ”>Apply now | UC Admissions )

They are not on the Common Application. That is completely separate.

Then what is common app for? I thought it was for UCs? Can it be used for USC? If not, where can I find USC’s prompt and where do I turn in the recommendations for USC?

Also when are the due dates for USC application and recommendations?

USC isn’t on the Common Application either. Why don’t you just go to the USC web site and get all these answers yourself?

I went to the common app site first, then went through it to see which ones of my choices took the common app. If my picks weren’t there, then I checked the school site directly. asd, you might try the same process.
