UC credit limitations??? what is this???

okay I have a question that I cannot seem to get an answer to...

I have chosen the rest of my classes that I will be taking in the spring semester. I put all these onto my application under the planned courses. I was told that i need to take CIS 1 (computer class) so that I can receive an Associates Degree at my CCC. I added the course to my planned courses. The problem though is that in my spring catalog, it says "UC Credit Limitations" instead of "UC transferable". what does this mean?? Will this class be accepted as a part of my 60 transferable units? If they deny the course, then I will not have completed my 60 units. what does this mean? please help :)

a limitation on the credit that this course transfers for.

there is a page that lists what the limit is. Usually it means that if you take course X andCourse Y the most you get is x credit for the course.

Look in your catologue for your CC what that limit is. You will get credit but the credit is capped.

Hope thathelps.

oooo okay I finally understand! It says
"* 1 and CS 1 combined: maximum credit, one course "

sooooo, if i just take CIS 1, I will receive my 3 transferable units correct?
