<p>From a small low budget rural high school that hasn't had a student accepted into an Ivy in 7 years...</p>

<p>ACT: 29</p>

<p>AP English:4 (only AP offered)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Varsity Tennis 4 years
Varsity Soccer 2 years
CSF 2 years
Spanish Honors 1 year
Junior Class Vice President
ASB Club Coordinator
Key Club 4 years (club treasurer and division LTG)
150+ hours of community service</p>

<p>volunteer @ local religious centers and a retirement facility.</p>

<p>I know the outlook's pretty bleak but I would appreciate any comments that would help me get a general feel for what kind of places I should look into.

<p>UCs: UCR, UCM, slight chance at SC</p>

<p>CSU: any except the Polys, Long Beach, and SD state, possibly fullerton depending might be out of reach</p>

<p>i think you have a good shot at all the UCs besides SD, LA and Berkeley.
As far as CSUs go , you should be fine. I know people with stats that aren’t as great as yours who were successful.</p>
