UC/CSU Subject Tests?

I've applied to 6 schools in California for Civil Engineering (UCB, UCD, CPSLO, CPP, SDSU and CSULB). For some reason in December I was under the impression that I would be able to take both the SAT and Subject Tests on one date but found out that I was unable to. Considering none of my schools required SAT II's I opted to take the regular SAT for a second time to improve my score rather than the optional Subject Tests.

It's very unclear to me on all of the websites as to the deadlines for all of these tests. I'm contemplating signing up for the January 25th Subject Tests for Math 2 and Physics C. Does anybody know if these schools will accept Subject Tests (not the regular SAT) for that date as it's kind of late? Would it be wise to email the schools to ask? Thanks!

For UC schools, it seems pretty clear that the December test date is the latest for both the SAT reasoning test and the Subject tests.

I think it’s weird that the December test date was Dec. 7 this year, yet the school wanted to receive scores by Dec. 1. Perhaps this means that the Nov. 2 test date was the last SAT date accepted for consideration.

*Note that Cal Poly prefers that applicants take the ACT rather than the SAT.

Good luck! Happy Holidays!
