Got the email around 4:20 Friday. So happy it’s official!!!

Not sure what GPA I had when I applied, but I got accepted. My major is East Asian Studies.

I did the SIR also and all the forms…I also set up my email, but I cant figure out how to find or check it. I am trying to set synch it with my Blackberry but I am not getting anywhere. Now I’ll probably miss “important” information.

@anyone–Going to an orientation? I wasnt going to but then I read they’ll help me with classes. Ha! I have no idea where to start.

@ skeptics: meh, signing up for classes is easy. Just log onto SISWEB, click on Student Services and Financial Aid, then Registration, then “Check Appointment Times”, then select your term (appointment times to sign up for Fall 2012 won’t show up until June) to see what time you can register for classes.

When it comes close to your registration time, just find the CRN of all the classes you want to take and input them into the appropriate spot on the registration page (upon clicking “register for classes” ).

Skeptics51: I also did the SIR and set up my email but can’t figure out where to access that email. I am planning to ask my UCLA daughter who is with me for the weekend. Or perhaps call or email with a question on Monday. I don’t think we will miss any important info in the next few days. Most of the important stuff we need to know or do is on the My Admission site.

I am going to orientation on July 2. I think it’s great that that will have advisors from your major to help you plan out what to register for. If it not inconvenient for you, I would sign up for a session as they will fill up quickly. Good Luck and congratulations!

Skeptics: check this out;[IET : Email : UCD Email Postmaster](http://email.ucdavis.edu/)

@ inquiringmind2 and skeptics: just log into my.ucdavis.edu, click on the My Tools tab, and then click “Email” :D

Thanks! I’m going to an orientation on June 26th. But the schedule is from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Is it for the entire day? I’ll have to ask some one to watch my dog if that’s the case. I still live about an hour and a half away.
