<p>@ iDizzle: If you’re referring to UCD there with the winter/summer part there, then I don’t know where you heard that the cap for winter is 2 classes, because it certainly is not true. I took 4 classes for winter quarter (for a total of 14 units. 1 was a 5 unit class, 1 was a 4 unit class, 1 was a 2 unit class, and 1 was a 3 unit class). Winter quarter is also the same length as fall and spring quarter–10 weeks long.</p>
<p>@ Sopranakitty: I’m talking about my current CCC’s semester system. I have no experience in the quarter system yet. At my CC the cap for the Winter/Summer 6 week sessions is only 7 units. I prefer it because I spend less time reviewing old information since I retain the info so much better in a short session. Fall/Spring semester is 16 weeks at my CC which I hate because by week 12 I end up spending lots of time reviewing older material.</p>
