<p>@angemon89: that’s what I figure but I was in a year-long internship at Berkeley and they were like, “might as well try”. Also, i talked to the Berkeley counselor 2 weeks ago that “IF” Berkeley would be so nice enough, they “might” let me in but for spring term and that is the reason why I’m keeping my hope for davis.</p>

<p>I have a question. So I got in with a design major as a transfer, but my interests have taken a turn. I am extremely interested in the sociology/ social services program the have going on over there. Is there a way I can change my major before transferring, or do I have to wait a quarter like their site explains? I got into the CSUS Social Work program and I am kind of in between a rock and a hard place.</p>
<p>@ justinkrahn: I’m wondering the same thing. I asked on the UC Davis subforum, but the only response I got was that I had to wait a quarter. I got in with an Animal Science major, but I’ve recently decided that I wanted to do East Asian Studies instead.</p>

<p>Most of my friends who applied UCD already received their acceptance email from UCD, and I am the only one who has not received anything. I have heard the acceptance notifications should be release on the same day, is that true?
I am so freaking nervous right now, because seems like my 3.3 gpa only qualifies to get in UCD among the top 4 campuses in UC. And here is my problem: In Winter quarter 2011, for some of the personal problem, I decided to quarter off. And I will be able to complete 90 units at the end of Summer quarter this year. So before my decision on taking off Winter 2011, I talked to one of the counselor in UCD and told her about my situation; she said it should be fine as long as i completed MY MAJOR PREREQUISITES BEFORE SPRING 2011. However, friends of mine told me UCD will never accept students who could not complete 90 units before the end of spring quarter, is that true? I saw people having lower gpa than me have already got accepted, and now I would really want to know not getting an email by these two days means NO?</p>

<p>not everyone has heard back yet, and I don’t know about oos but for in-state 3.3 can get you into any UC fairly easily (besides LA and Cal obviously) best of luck to you!</p>

<p>Haha I’m Nor Cal born and bred and I intend to stay here. Smack in the middle of San Fran and Sac with all of my best friends is fine by me. So close to the State Capital for internships, and I get access to the awesome UCDC program. Not much more that I can ask for hehe
