Congratulations to everyone who got in. I hope they put my $60 to good use ^___^

does anyone know if all the UCD decisions have come out or are some still pending?

^ UCD should be rolling out decisions till the end of the month.

waitlisted
animal science
gpa 3.2

i just want to hear from schools.

After reading all the rejections I’m so glad I got in. I was on edge because I didn’t have a tag and Davis was my first choice. Also, I was applying as a bio major and not all my lower division classes were done.

I’m gonna have to take Bio 2B/C and Chem 118B/C after I transfer.

But I did have a lot of premed extracurriculars: I am a board member for the UCD premed conference that takes place every year in october, and I am an AMSA club officer at my community college.

Sorry for all of you that were set on davis but didn’t get in :'(

rejected by Davis accepted to UCLA…yessssss

if i got rejected from davis, i can appeal right? idk what the process is/what the chances are

@lovecubedlee - yep you can appeal. Don’t know how it works though.
@msess187 - congrats on being admitted to UCLA! That’s awesome. This shows that the increase in TAGs pushed a lot of qualified applicants out, and I hate to say this, but it is good that they are limiting the number of places people can TAG to and increasing the min GPA to get a TAG.

Is anyone still waiting on their Financial Aid packages?
I haven’t gotten mine yet. :c

Waitlisted:
UC to UC transfer, Computer Science
~2.8
No ECs, unremarkable essays, no hardships, etc.

All this after getting a D, F, and NP in this fall. Probably rejecting, I obviously don’t deserve to go.

did davis look at Fall 10 GPAs?

@bunnychan
Haven’t gotten mine updated either even though I was accepted a few days ago. Kinda frustrating. Kinda just glad to get in.

So it says to complete my classes with a C or higher and maintain a 2.90 gpa…does this mean for the semester or overall?

“Complete all transferable courses in progress or planned with a GPA of 2.90 or higher, with no grade less than “C,” in addition to being in good standing at each collegiate institution that you have attended.”

Seems pretty clear to me. The 2.90 minimum applies to transferable courses “in progress or planned”, not necessarily an overall transferable GPA. But if a 2.90 removes you from “good standing” at your “collegiate institution” then THAT would void the agreement.

Complete ALL transferable courses inprogress or PLANNED with a GPA of 2.90 or higher, with no grade less than “C,” in addition to being in good standing at each collegiate institution that you have attended."

i would say it is for overall gpa…

@bunnychan and elkheart: I haven’t gotten my financial aid package yet either. Every time I log onto the MyAwards, it just says that my package is not yet finished. I’ve already gotten my acceptance letter and accepted, so I don’t know. It is a little frustrating. Hopefully we find out soon though! :)

Hmm, well I withdrew from a class that I didn’t need (Ceramics - hated it) so I hope that doesn’t hurt my chances considering I have A’s in my other 3 classes. Are many of you accepting a waitlist position?

I feel like such a necro to bring this thread back to the forefront after being pushed back 4 pages, haha.
