<p>Yes, I was waitlisted. I’m fairly certain I will accept it as well if I don’t get into UCSD. I honestly know nothing about Davis, but it had my major so I applied. I’m unsure of which route to take for my essay though. Probably focus on my interest in Pharmacology & my volunteer work but aside from that I am a bit clueless on what they ‘really’ want to read.</p>
<p>yeah i heard it was their first year utilizing the waitlist and theyre the only ones that require a 200 word essay. so no one really knows how to approach it. 
i guess take the humorous excited route?</p>

<p>I called Financial Aid today about my package still not being ready. They said given that I submitted a FAFSA and received an official admission statement it should have been ready by now. They took my name, number, and email and said they’d give my file to a financial officer immediately.
I’d recommend calling.</p>
<p>They sent me an email about orientation, but my application status still pending…is that mean I got in? Sooo confuse now, anyone has the same situation?</p>

<p>Stupid question: is there any way you can get into Davis for Fall 2011 after being admitted to UCLA, UCSD, UCSC, UCSB,UCR? just wondering.</p>

<p>accepted as a comm major but i want to switch to english if i go. like adding a 2nd major, do we have to wait one quarter before we can petition for a major switch?</p>
