Your UC GPA is within range and ACT above the 50th percentile and some good leadership with your EC’s. I would say you have a good chance at UCD.
Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19 (not major specific):
UCD: 58%
25th - 75th percentiles for ACT:
UCD: 26-32
Best of luck.
Thank you very much! What would your thoughts be on UCSD/UCSDB?
Again, your stats put you in range for UCSB and UCSD, but Econ at both are tough admits. Econ at UCSD is a capped major so hopefully you selected an alternate major. For UCSB, you are admitted as a Pre major and have to pass some difficult Econ pre-req courses to declare the major.
Freshman admit rates (2016) for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:
UCSD: 44%-Low Reach
UCSB: 54%-High Match
Thank you, this information has been very helpful!
