Hi I am a Cali resident. I go to a private school and I have a 3.4 UW. I got nearly all A’s my junior year and am expecting to do the same my senior. I am very anxious because I got a 3.0 my sophomore and freshman years due to issues with family (will explain in common app) I am still in the process of taking the SAT but am expecting between a 1300-1400 (nothing lower)
I have been a veterinary assistant for almost 2 years, and I work at the LA zoo. I am the president of a school club, and a member of two others. I also own a non profit foundation which is established and certified.
Chance me UC Davis please:) !
UC Davis like all UC’s will use only 10-11th grades in their GPA calculation. Senior grades are not considered for admission purposes since UC applications are due Nov 30th and Senior grades are not usually available. UCD uses the UC application not the common application, but you should address the reason for you lower grades in 10th.
You need to first calculate your UC GPA (capped weighted) for UC Davis: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
All UC’s will use the capped weighted UC GPA while UCB/UCLA will use the fully weighted UC GPA also.
As of right now you have no SAT score so until you have your UC GPA and SAT scores, no one can really chance you.
