Does anyone know the acceptance rate this year?

@lanabanana99: UCD will probably not publish the acceptance rate until they have finished with the waitlist and all applicants have SIR’d.

I like the way UCLA lists their stats and lets you see the difference between those that applied, those that were accepted and those that enrolled.

@Gumbymom I received 10k for the University Grant, is that gonna be annually or how does it work?

@WeTurnRed: You can list the breakout of your financial aid package?
UCD’s University grant is a need based grant based on your FASFA information. You need to file your FASFA yearly and depending upon the calculated EFC, this grant could be more or less each year.

@Gumbymom ohhh I understand now, thansk! What do you mean by “You can list the breakout of your financial aid package?”?

@WeTurnRed: Did UCD give you financial package listing all grants/loans etc…? Sometimes the Cal Grant’s are lumped into the University grants so just wondering you have a break out of all your financial aid.

@Gumbymom I got the following :

Student Self-Help $2,500.00
(EFC) $14,630.00
Total Contributions
$17,130.00
Financial Need
$18,751.00
Estimated Financial Aid
Fed Direct Parent PLUS Loan $12,630.00
Fed Direct Subsidized Loan $3,500.00
Fed Direct Unsubsidized Loan $2,000.00
University Grant $10,953.00
University Student Loan $2,000.00
Total Estimated Financial Aid
$31,083.00

From what I understood I have to pick the ones necessary to pay for the school. My family might be able to contribute a little more, they stated before thaf they were willing to pay up to 2k per month.
