Essays- I attended UC Berkeley’s college application seminar to understand what the UCs were looking for in the Personal Insight questions. The advice that worked for me was answering the questions like interview questions: straightforwardly and with little flourish due to the limited words for each. These essays weren’t a literary masterpiece but I feel that they were direct and encompassed the unique aspects of my personality.
