Hi, I’m interested in UC Davis Cosmos Cluster 9 - Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems. Initially, I was interested in the Machine Learning Cluster, but I am concerned that it would be way too competitive. I have a decent amount of programming experience but not much in the field of computational biology. The course definitely seems very interesting and I feel I’d learn a lot from it. If anyone either has experience with this course or other information about it, how competitive is it? How is the program overall, especially for someone with a lot of programming experience?
