@formomilan You’re likely rejected since you got the appeal page. At least you got into UCR though. I haven’t been admitted to any UC yet, still waiting on UCSC, UCI, and UCD. I’m already rejected by UCSB and UCR. Getting the “satisfied” in UCD gives me hope though. =]

What does this mean…?

It means you’re waitlisted or accepted! As long as “Admissions Application Decision” is under the satisfied section, you’re good to go. I noticed you also got the “Sorry” message as well. No need to worry. I assume the Not Satisfied parts are what you submit after you SIR.

@Mintyy

No because I don’t have that. Look at my picture. But he does have the Admissions thing Satisfied which is good news

TransferDK it means you need to update your FAFSA and use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to add your parents information of this year.

Also you need to fill out the CA GPA Verification Form, they need to verify your GPA.

Hi guys,
can somewhere tell me how to access the fin aid? When I log in to “myadmissions” I only see that my application is in review. I tried accessing the appeals page a while ago and it gave me the “sorry” message.
Thanks in advance!

@BioToUcla How’d you get that kind of GPA w/o ever using google?

lol @ghiblijiang relaaax
thank you @ucturtle :)

I’m going to still think that my status will change soon, and that I will get in… Lol.
Posts I have seen so far in this thread, it seems like almost everyone who’s got “satisfied” on their financial awards or got the “sorry message…” has 3.1+ GPA. wondering is there anyone that got the sorry message… with a 2.9 GPA ??

So what does this mean?

http://i.imgur.com/euOdhvk.png

It means you’ve either been accepted or waitlisted.

@cinnabon1234- when do you think is the last day the statuses on myAwards will change?

^Idk exactly when, but last year there were people who had their status’ change to “Satisfied” at the very last minute (literally 2 or 3 days before the official decisions came out).

Why, does your status still say “Not Satisfied”?

@cinnabon1234 idk, i tagged. Hopefully it changes to “satisfied” before decisions come out. But my appeal pages say “sorry only non selected applicants can appeal their decisions.” Idk what this means?

Hmmm, it could be that TAG’d applicants are having their financial aid processed later than others. I really wouldn’t worry about it too much though. You do have a TAG and as long as you didn’t void it, you’re guaranteed to be admitted.

Keep checking the FAFSA though and let us know when yours finally updates!

Alright guys, not trying to stir things up… but I have “Satisfied”, and also an appeal page? I applied as a sophomore transfer (which UC Davis accepts into their Ag. program), after being waitlisted and later denied last year as a freshman.

I’m confused… can someone tell me what this means?

@gallopgirl88: Are you sure that you’re checking your FAFSA for the 2013-2014 year? And are you sure you’re checking your Appeal page for the Fall 2013 quarter? I was rejected last year as a freshman myself and when I access the appeal page, it lets me pick between last year’s application (Fall 2012) and this year’s application (Fall 2013). When I click on last year’s application, it shows me an appeal form. This year’s application gives me a “Sorry” message.

Maybe you’re accessing last year’s application by accident? At the top of the page on the appeals form, there should be a link that says “Change Term”. Click on that and then click on Fall 2013 and tell us what you see then.

If you still get the “Satisfied” message with the “Appeals” page, then idk… That just derails everything we established in this thread.
Or it could be that it’s different for Sophomore transfers since they have lower priority (I applied as a junior transfer since My AP units put me over the 90 unit minimum). My friend also applied as a sophomore transfer and he’s getting the “Satisfied” message with the “Sorry” message.

And for those of you who’re starting to worry about the appeal forms starting to change (based on gallopgirl88’s post), I still have the same results: “Satisfied” on the FAFSA page and “Sorry, only non-selected applicants can appeal their admission decision” on the appeals page. So don’t lose hope!

Has anyone gotten an official decision yet?

@lodown1

UCD doesn’t release in bursts. All decisions will be out on the 19th of this month.
