@derse444
so everyone finds out at the same time ?

Official decisions are set to be out on the 19th (Friday afternoon/evening, just like always). I was looking through 2011’s decision thread for transfers and it seems that everyone who is accepted finds out on the 19th. It looked to me like rejections and waitlists came out a few days later on the 22nd and 23rd. Idk if it’s gonna be the same way this year, but that’s how it was in 2011 and 2012.

That’s so long from now! I pass the financial aid test and appeal test. But I don’t want to get too excited until I get an official acceptance.

Just wondering, did anyone who TAG’d get “sorry” message on the appeal page and “not satisfied” on myAwards? This is really bugging me
I dont want to end up getting rejected based on a mistake or something…

@uctransfer21

so do you mean by “admission decision” shows up at “not satisfied”? or “admission decision” does not show up anywhere? These two are different things. If you have “sorry” message along with “not satisfied”, we must let @cinnabon know. If “academic decision” just does not show up, it means you may be fine, cuz next a couple days you will get your “satisfied” message.

can you also post a screen shot?

I tagged and got the sorry appeals letter but it is still saying not satisfied on fin aid

^ you already got “Sorry non-admitted…”, right? I think your fin aid status will change to “satisfied” next a couple days. Since you tagged, as long as you don’t break it, you must be accepted.

Just hang in there guys… the FAFSA (Admission Application Decision) changes to “Satisfied” on a rolling basis. It’ll change in the next couple of days. If it doesn’t, then post back here and we’ll try to figure it out. Also, if you could post a screenshot here, that would be very helpful.

Hey guys! So I am tagged. 3.52 (Econ-Major to Davis)

I have “Satisfied” and "“Sorry, only non-selected applicants can appeal their decision.” I got that about a week ago.

Btw @cinnabon1234 great job on handling these Davis’s threads. Cheers!

@tcccom is true that you speculate that UCSB won’t accept you because they go by majors? Because I’m a econ major too and I haven’t heard them as well "/

@ExpoUC13: Haha thanks! Just trying to help relieve some of the stress that this whole waiting game’s been bringing us for the past few months.

Also, UCSB’s Econ program is much much more competitive to get into, compared to Davis’ Managerial Econ. In fact, I think it may be impacted at UCSB (correct me if I’m wrong here).

I didn’t apply to UCSB… It said I only needed to have a 2.7X to be competitive…

I can’t hang in anymore, gonna go crazy soon. I’m already rejected from UCR, UCSC, UCSB. No acceptance so far.

Post decision already UCI!!!

@ghiblijiang

Seriously!

There’s always UCM?

^ lol

10char

So what does it mean if you have a “Not Satisfied” but also a “Sorry, only rejected students…”. They’re sending me mixed messages, lol

@drdoolittling: As of right now, if you’re getting the “Not Satisfied” message with the “Sorry” message, it simply means that the Financial Aid office hasn’t finished processing your file yet. Again, like I said multiple times on this thread so far, the financial aid office updates its website on a rolling basis. There were many people last year and the year before that, who had their statuses change to “Satisfied” about two or three days before decisions came out. So if your status doesn’t change by Wednesday or Thursday, that’s when I’d start getting worried. However, I really don’t think you’ll have to wait that long… they might push another batch of “Satisfied” out on Tuesday (they sent out the initial batch last Tuesday, so it might make sense for them to do it again exactly a week later). Let us know when your status changes, so that other can go check theirs too! Also, what’s your GPA and major? Did you TAG? That might help us understand how they’re going about this process. Thanks!

@cinnamon1234 I admire your patience I would have not responded. Seriously people he/she answered that same question about 5 times lol

Just start coping and pasting. Coping and pasting for real

Sent from my HTC One X using CC

I never got an email from Davis when I applied (although I got an email from UC saying I applied to Davis) so I never got my student id, is there any way of getting it?
