UC Davis Decision on MyAwards

Well, the application decision has not been out, but I just logged onto myrewards, and saw Regents! So happy!

What?! You can see your financial aid package? By the way, do you mean MyAwards?

Did you submit a letter of recommendation in January?

Yeah, I meant MyAwards. I did not submit FAFSA, so I never saw anything after logging onto MyAwards. But obviously the system was updated past 12:00.
I did ask my professor for a recommendation letter back in December, and I believe he submitted the letter in early January.

Oh ok. I have no chance at it then. No letters of Rec

@yymbio: congrats! What are your stats, if you don’t mind sharing?
I submitted a letter of rec as well…but I don’t know if I’ll get Regents…

Are our financials supposed to be updated? I logged in and my page still had the “Your award information is not yet available for viewing or “Accepting” online”

^Mine still says that my Financial Aid package isn’t complete yet either. I guess they only rolled out Regents scholarships so far, but we should be getting ours in a couple of hours/days too!

hey everybody, the"Admission Application Decision" is no more under the “Satisfied Global Requirements” . Mine is missing now!!! Anyone is same as mine?

Mines gone as well.

My satisfied thing is gone too! I’m guessing they found out about this too?

Is everyone else’s missing now too?

Mine’s gone too.

I’m guessing they’re getting ready to send out the Financial Aid offers to people and that’s why they took this down… or it could mean that they found out about this trick so they got rid of it too.

As long as you had “Satisfied” at one point of time or the other though, I’m sure you’ll be fine. I mean, if it went from “Satisfied” to “Not Satisfied”, then THAT would be cause for concern… but the thing is, the message disappeared altogether for everyone. So it can’t be anything bad.

Does anyone still have their “Not Satisfied” message on MyAwards?

EDIT:

Guys, I think the game’s over now… I just checked MyAwards for the 2012-2013 year (when I was rejected). Before today, I had the “Not Satisfied” message. Now, there’s nothing there. This can only mean that they got rid of the trick (there’s no other reason for them to remove the “Satisfied/Not Satisfied” statuses for years that have already passed.

My sister had a not satisfied and hers disappeared today too

@eacole: If you don’t mind me asking, what were your sister’s stats (GPA and major)? Sorry, I’m just trying to see if I can piece any of this together.

I submitted my recommendation for regents, but it doesn’t say anything on myawards.

@cinnabon she is a literature major at UCSD right now but she wants to transfer for the education credential program. I believe her gpa was in the low 3.0 area but I’m not sure.

I applied as a linguistics major with around a 3.6 gpa from an out of state college. I had a satisfied message on mine

^Ahhh, okay.

Hahaha guys, maybe we shouldn’t have discussed these tricks so profusely? :stuck_out_tongue: Sucks for next years transfers, I highly doubt they’ll have the FAFSA trick OR the appeals trick to use.

Also, can anyone access their appeal page at all anymore? I just went here:

[UC Davis : Non-admitted Transfer Applicants](<a href=“http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/admission/transfers/tr_nonadmitted.cfm]UC Davis”>http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/admission/transfers/tr_nonadmitted.cfm)

When I click on the “MyAdmissions” link at the bottom of the page underneath “May I appeal my denial of admission”, it makes me login and then takes me straight to my Admission Decision portal (the whole “your application is still under review” page).

Yeah, they definitely cracked down on the tricks, there’s no way around for next year’s transfers.

They also cracked down on the admission decision in financial aid. Sorry if this was mentioned already.

Probably because this thread got too big.
