Alright, so the email I received said I was waitlisted, and on the bottom it says “College of Engineering: Electrical Engineering” (being my primary major.) So what about my secondary major? Is this implying I am placed on the waitlist for my secondary major as well or is there a separate decision and email for that secondary major?

But man UC davis is so nice to their rejected students too. The rejection letter was put together so kindly and thoughtfully that I fell more in love with Davis (lame I know) T_T

I appreciate that they sent out all decisions-> rejections, acceptances and waitlists the same day. Its cruel to release them on different days and giving applicants who are still waiting hope. So happy they didn’t do that.

Congratulations to all of you who were accepted! You are lucky, you were accepted by a really wonderful university! Have fun and Good Luck!

Accepted

ACCEPTED WITH A SAT 1760!!

I was honestly, completely ready for rejection. I already had plans of going to UC Riverside and everything, so figure my surprise… haha. I can’t believe it. My stats are pretty average, but my EC’s are nonexistent. I really want to say it was because of my personal statements, but I remember beating myself over them back in December, so I don’t even know what to say… I’m just so incredibly happy right now.

@literally I’m betting both your majors listed were impacted and they admitted you to one which would have priority for some cross over classes, or which was their best guess of your third choice. Since that is a guess, you should really call and ask them, on Monday. If I am right, they would probably let you transfer into any NON impacted major if you would prefer that. However, I expect they chose what they chose for a reason they thought you would prefer, and you should find out what that reason was.

Does anyone know about the admission specifics. How many admitted?
My son is really sad as two of his best friends didn’t get in. So it was a somber Friday night… usually they all hangout at our house… happy and watching movies.
