Uc davis decisions 2018

@Ghiigh33 did you apply for financial aid? At least for me, UC Davis was extremely generous, they covered $19K of my $31K tuition, and my family isn’t even poor or anything. But I’m in state…

SoCalDad2, mine says the same thing when I log onto MyAwards. But I didn’t apply for any aid, so that might’ve been why. I think they might still be processing everything regardless of when/whether you sent in the FAFSA so I would check back tomorrow!

And I tried to find out more about the honors programs, but I haven’t been able to find very much. I think they included information about it in the acceptance letter. Taken from the UCD Honors Program site-- “Invitational Pathway: Regents Scholars and selected high achieving students will be invited to participate in the University Honors Program, and will be notified that they have been invited to the program in their admittance email.” I didn’t get any notice about the program in my letter so I’m assuming I’m out of the running for that, haha.

Finally, I have to say I’m kind of baffled at some of the rejections both on here and IRL. One of my closest friends was flat-out rejected with a 35 ACT and we’re still trying to figure out what went wrong. Regardless of the results, we still have a ways to go, guys, so hang in there!

@collegeamateur
Good for you. My D didn’t get anything. Our EFC according to FAFSA is 57K. I guess they think that we don’t need aid but can’t easily afford 32K/year

■■ YOU GUYS

Well duh you’re in state what do you expect… Am I actually supposed to just cough up 54K a year or are there any options to help me for gods sake

@Ghiigh33
Well duh, it should not be a surprise to you that your COA is 54K. It’s not like a secret that OOS has a higher tuition/fees.
