UC Davis economics

i was looking at the uc davis economics program, and in order to complete the econ degree it says

I am a transfer student. Which requirements do I need to satisfy?
If you have completed the IGETC, you simply need to satisfy:

* Economics major requirements
* Upper division English course (see English requirement) or pass the English Composition Examination.
* Units requirements (180 units total and 64 upper division units)

so assuming you finish all the classes for davis economics listed on assist, you only need to complete 64 upper division units??? isnt that only about 10-11 units a quarter assuming you complete it in 2 years?

also what is the upper division english course?

thank you

economics majors are not unit demanding like other majors such as engineering… you will have time to take other classes… maybe you want to look into choosing a minor

i thought about getting a major in biotech also, but then i would have to stay another year at my cc to complete chem and bio requirements. so i dont know if i should do that

bump, is this the case at all UC’s with units?
