I received a suspicious email saying that I was admitted to UC Davis. It did not have a lot of text and had a link. Do not open this link, it opens to a strange website that did not look official. It had the gmail logo in the top left. Delete this mail and label it as spam. I realized the email address had a funny ending after opening the link and I immediately closed and shut down my computer. I am currently running a full computer scan. Do not fall for the same dumb thing that happened to me.
When the link opens, the gmail logo is in the top left. The email says [Message clipped] View entire message. The “View entire message” is a link
Ironic thing is, I learned I got in when I visited the official website. The email is from do-not-reply-adm@ad3.ucdavis.edu and it was via this email: sjc01.hobsonsmail.com
i had the email too but i think it’s legitimate and i am pretty sure everyone who was admitted received it too
That was legitimate lol. In the pc it appears as “message clipped,” but on my iPhone it just showed normally. I checked the decision in my student portal and it was legitimate. I was accepted.
Label Dongkk as a big spam!!!
