what does your financial aid status say? mine says “Financial aid award package not available”. Don’t know if this is a good sign or not

Make sure you click on the Requirements tab on the left-hand corner!
I was confused by that too until I read you have to click on the Requirements tab to know.
Mine says the same thing as yours, but on the Requirements page, it says “Satisfied” where it says FAFSA which means I’m in! 8->

@Daedalus916 That’s weird. I don’t see the requirement tab on the left hand corner. You sure about that?

No, that does not automatically mean you’re in -_-

@tuyenle
Positive. It says Requirements right underneath my name on this webpage after I log on with my ID:

Say that to a whole prior post dedicated to the same concept and all of the ones whose said Satisfied BEFORE they got accepted and take it up with them -____________-
<a href=“UC Davis Decision on MyAwards - UC Transfers - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1473841-uc-davis-decision-on-myawards-p1.html

"This requirement indicates whether the Financial Aid Office has confirmed your admission to UC Davis (Satisfied). The Financial Aid Office cannot process your financial aid until your UC Davis Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) is confirmed.

If this requirement does not show as satisfied, please visit the UC Davis Admissions website to review your admission status."

Pretty sure that UC Davis wouldn’t put this status to students and confirm that their financial aid was going to be disbursed to them if they were just going to reject them. We’ll see in a week, and let’s see if I’m right though then.
8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8-> 8->

@Daedalus916 yeah, i logged in with my id and all but there’s no requirement tab under my name. Hopefully i am not the only one.

@tuyenle I can’t see a requirements tab either. Ughhh I’m so sick of this site it’s giving me gray hair

@jlt2916 Did you see the appeal form. I see nothing.

@tuyenle I don’t think so. I just get the page that says my financial aid package isn’t available. At the very top of the page it gives me a deadline to submit the requirements by, which I don’t understand

http://oi59.■■■■■■■.com/153712v.jpg

Is this what you’re talking about, Daedalus?

Mine says satisfied, but when I click on the satisfied link, the message “The document has been received and processed” comes up. I wouldn’t read too far into it either way.

The same thing is going on over at the UCSD thread and driving people crazy, but I remain cautiously optimistic nonetheless.

it’s weird when some people have the requirement tab under their name but not all. I don’t have it under mine. I hope it doesn’t mean anything

@tuyenle I didn’t see a requirements tab either. I just logged in and then clicked on <a href=“CAS – Central Authentication Service”>https://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/MyAwards/StudentGlobalRequirements.aspx again and it showed up.

yeah, guys, click on the ■■■■■■■ link above and that’s exactly how the Requirements page should look.
That’s exactly how mine looks too. I’m reading quite a lot into it since i tagged, but we can only wait and see the official decisions to be 100% sure.

@Daedalus916 I can access it through the link and it says satisfied but how do I actually get to it through myawards?

I don’t think anything on the website (the things that begin with My___) is available for prospective students until AFTER April 18th, after the official decisions are out. For instance, I can’t access MyAdmissions until after the date; that’s what they posted on the page anyway.

I have no requirements listed and this is what I got:

Your access to MyAwards for the 2014-2015 aid year is currently restricted.
Your access is being restricted for the following reason(s):
FINANCIAL AID AWARD PACKAGE NOT AVAILABLE

Your award information is not currently available. Please note:
Blah blah blah

I have a 4.0 as well…

lol, not the “possible indicators of admissions” again… oh well, i enjoy it

Mine says the same thing as @chaoscuber

@lolapola, I want to test something. Log out (so we can start fresh)

Now, do this:

1) Log in here: <a href=“CAS – Central Authentication Service”>https://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/MyAwards/StudentGlobalRequirements.aspx

2) NOW, just stay logged in (just stay on that page where it says the same the thing as @chaoscuber) and click on the same link again: <a href=“CAS – Central Authentication Service”>https://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/MyAwards/StudentGlobalRequirements.aspx

Now, does it show “Satisfied Global Requirements (required for all funds)” in the gold colored tab with “‘Free’ Financial Aid Application” under it and “Satisfied” to the right of that?

If so, click on “Satisfied”.

Now, does it show “Requirement Status Legend” in another gold colored tab and “Satisfied The document has been received and processed” underneath it ?
