I FEEL YOU!!! EVERYONE is asking and I don’t think they understand that we’re already in a lot of pressure and it’s starting to really get to me every time someone asks. I know they don’t mean to stress us out but jeebus~they surely add on more stress… T_T

@bhav007 hear hear, almost the same boat. Luckily my parents both live and work abroad currently so I can somewhat avoid the daily stressful inquiry. But the rest of feelings are all identical as you.:-S

Oops, my bad. “I saw 5PM, tomorrow”, and thought you were confused. Good luck you and the rest of CC transfer students anticipating to hear back from Davis!!!

I wanna flip everytime someones asks. They’re always like “well my friend in hs already found out” and I’m just like well this isn’t effing high school

I looked at the FRESHMAN UC Counselors and Advisers Bulletin for this year and UCDavis released on the date they had listed at around 5pm. Hopefully they follow through with the Bulletin for Transfer and we see decisions at 5pm on the 18th! Exciting.

@bhav007 Same here… Think we all need to find something to preoccupy our minds until 5pm. The hours leading up to it are going to feel like days.

@redgadget3 When you call the admissions people the first message you hear is “Good news! Transfer decisions will be given out after 5pm on April 18th”

“The extraordinary size and strength of the UC Davis applicant pool means that many qualified candidates are denied admission. For fall quarter 2014, UC Davis received about 14,400 transfer applications competing for approximately 3,200 available spaces. Get answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.”

O_O Found this on the Davis website. I hope they’re accepting more than 3,200…

@transfer14ptl Wow, I really hope they do! I know I’ve really got my work cut out for me since I’m not a CCC student, but maybe they have room for a former Californian in there…

ALRIGHT PEOPLE, I just called UC Davis and:

It started off with the auto message thing saying how decisions will be released tomorrow after 5 P.M.

BUT, I was curious to see if that meant ANYTIME AFTER 5 P.M.(MEANING THAT PEOPLE CAN STILL BE NOTIFIED EVEN DAYS LATER SINCE THAT IS STILL TECHNICALLY CONSIDERED “AFTER 5 P.M. TOMORROW”) OR IF TOMORROW WAS THE REAL DEAL.

SO, I pressed 1 for Admissions Information, and it connected me to an admissions person.

I decided to find out if ALL NOTIFICATIONS will be released tomorrow. So, I gave her an example of what I meant by saying how if anyone will be notified like a week later (and told her how that is still an example of “AFTER 5 P.M. TOMORROW”).

She knew what I meant, and she told me that ALL WILL BE NOTIFIED TOMORROW AFTER 5 P.M.
LOL, just had to make sure, know what I’m sayin?

Thank you so much for going out of your way to do that for not only you, but all of us here biting our nails about the decisions for tomorrow. Very selfless of you and much appreciated. Very good to know too since I also wondered that. B-)
