Additional Notes: I took this past spring semester off to help my father start a software business. In addition, I took all the mathematics and computer science classes offered at the community college I attended in Southern California. On top of all of this, I did not attend college for two years after graduating from high school and I did not disclose my full reason for doing so on the UC application.
I hope this provides some peace of mind to anyone in the future who has had uneasy life experiences.
