I feel like I should have TAG’ed UCD… Feeling a little bittersweet. I’m from the bay area and wanted to go some where far but I would have felt better if I had the options to visit numerous campuses and actually chose which school (UC) I wanted to go to. SJ state is literally right there and other people I’ve spoken to in person and some people on here that UCSB basically accepts anyone and TAG isn’t really necessary to get in. (Should’ve researched or known more before I submitted my tag)

I know that I am a long shot for UC admission with my cumulative GPA, but I have extreme extenuating circumstances and am very involved on campus as well as in my community. I applied for a Regents Scholarship as well, but didn’t see any mention of it.
Also, I see that one of the requirements is an official high school transcript. I graduated in 2008 from a home school, and I’m kind of afraid I’ll have trouble getting that. It’s usually impossible to reach the staff at the school. Hopefully I’ll be able to work something out.
