Comments: Not too surprised by this result overall. UCD’s transfer page for engineering students clearly states that transfers with 1-2 missing required courses (i.e. me) have lower priority for admission, and transfers with 3 or more missing prerequisites are automatically denied.

@ARandomPerson1 I’m guessing that’s why I got waitlisted too. I’m just sort of shocked that Davis is THAT strict about missing 1-2 pre-reqs considering I have a 4.0. But I guess it is what it is. Going to start working on my 200 word essay this weekend and hope for the best I guess.

@vergil531 Huh, that is definitely odd. I just saw a mechanical engineering transfer with a 4.0 GPA on another page get waitlisted even with all prerequisites done, so I’m not sure what else would explain their decisions.
