@Mbr131 I have no idea. I just can’t really imagine it would be as easy as simply logging into student billing. I really don’t want to believe in any admissions “tricks”, but there’s a verrrry small part of me that’s like, “Hmm, maybe.” I’m an optomist.
For what it’s worth, to further stir the pot, I tried to log into student billing for the other schools I applied to and couldn’t get in/received error messages. ONLY 1 MORE DAY.
Did anyone get an email from Davis asking for unofficial transcripts? I got an email two weeks ago & idk if that is a good or bad thing

@aee0301 don’t worry, I got one too. They told me it was normal, they just do that sometimes. Do you have any other reason to think you might be at jeopardy? Grades, etc?
@aee0301 Did you attend multiple CC’s? I think a few people on this forum have gotten this request due to that reason.

I have 2.84 gpa & im an art history major. I’m a little worry but I’m trying to stay optimistic.

@aee0301 As far as the transcripts are concerned, I would say that you don’t have to worry about that. I don’t know that art history is a super impacted major, so you should be fine, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you nonetheless.
Soo if you go on collegeboard.com and search uc davis it shows that 94% of transfers are admitted and only 2,000+ are enrolled.

I remember looking at it back for fall 2015 and the admissions rate was like 50%. Lol 14,000 incoming transfers I think there’s something wrong going on
Lol I remember seeing somewhere the admit rate was 54% sometime in the last couple years, I’m guessing they typed the 9 instead of the 5 on accident
@aee0301 they requested unofficial transcripts from me as well. I gave them a call about it and they said it was to just verify how certain courses would transfer over.
@mandieleigh my mentors tell me that it is not an impacted major so I’m really hoping for the best. But thank you so much!!! Good luck to you as well

No, not all at once. Notifications and updates are sent through a rolling span of an hour, or even more. Even though the advisor said 5pm, its highly likely they will start notifications at 2 or 3pm. They did this last year, and many years before. Everyone should have their decision by 5 probably.
Dont bother refreshing the page over and over. They send an email to your email address as soon as your decision has been updated and posted.
@muslimun I appreciate the insight, but the anxiety is living vicariously through me. Refreshing is a basic instinct at this point. For all of the schools I applied to.
