You should try and keep the TAG however possible. That’s what I don’t like about UCD. Having an emergency should be allowed, as far as I am concerned. No other UC does this. Did they definitely say you’re out? Reach out with documentation.
yeah my counselor reached out to the representative. i dropped my classes before decisions came out so I didn’t know i was accepted for the tag so they tried to stop it but it was too late. The representative herself said it was considered void.
Has anyone else gotten an email about applying for their Regent scholarship?
Tinedancer, when I applied to UCD last year and got accepted I believe in early April, they don’t send application out for regents until once you get accepted. Which is usually in April.
They sent out regents emails early this year I guess. I got the email about 3 weeks ago.
Also just for the future, you should have just e-mailed UC Davis admission, they would have directed you to UC Davis Financial aid and scholarships email, where you could ask them and they would give you an explicit answer.
UCD Regents invites were sent out in mid March last year.
I got an email in early February inviting me to apply through their scholarship application, I was just wondering if anyone else had gotten the same email, that’s all
Got the email as well a while ago! @tinedancer
@tinedancer yes, I got the Regents email a while ago and the application was due last night by midnight, rec letter is due the 6th I believe
i got an email from admissions earlier asking me about my TAG so it’s nerve-racking to know they’re reviewing them.
@animalscience1 My sister TAG’d Davis. What do you mean, you got an email asking about it?
They wanted me to explain the reasoning behind dropping my fall courses and breaking the TAG agreement before finishing the review of my application
What agreement did you break?
