@willowstil When did you receive an email about applying for a regents scholarship? I got one on Feb 12th that was due March 3rd. Unfortunately, I didn’t apply. It required supplementals and I’m not sure if it’s my top choice or not.
^^^ getting a regents does not mean you’re forced to go there.
@fullogiggles I got mine on February 12th as well. UCLA and UCB are my top choices but if I got Davis Regents it would be hard to pass up!
Do you think getting the Regents email and not submitting an application for it will have an adverse effect on my overall admission chances?
@DavisPls I think getting the email just means you stood out as an applicant and they thought you might be a good candidate for the scholarship, I don’t think it would count against you if you didn’t apply.
@Ohm88 How would I go about reporting a grade change from a class I took last summer. The grade changed from a D to a C. Do I email/call every UC or just the UC Application center? I can also send my transcript as well proving the change. I wish I could have reported it back in January but it just happened recently.
Yes email everyone - BUT the rule is grades through fall, so I’m not sure how they’ll factor in a change from this winter. Anyway, that’s the drill - email each UC pronto.
@Ohm88 After researching for a little bit, I ended up emailing both of these emails. docs@applyucsupport.net and ucinfo@applyucsupport.net. This seems to be what most people did and they got a response in a week.
Good luck!
Hello! I tagged Davis and am a viticulture&enology major. I don’t see any housing threads going but wanted to start looking for a female to get an apartment with this coming fall! I’m open to getting a 2 or 3 bedroom, I’m fairly quiet, not a smoker but obviously enjoy one or a few glasses of wine! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!
Any idea when Davis will start notifying applicants? I tagged UCD but I still havent heard back and it seems like some UCs have already released their decisions
Historically I think they release on the third Friday of April? I saw that on last years board and that’s when they got theirs
According to Ask Ms. Sun, “UC Davis All decisions will likely become available at MyAdmissions around April 19, 2019 based on previous years’ decision date.”

I don’t know how accurate their predictions are though.
Editing to add @tinedancer said third Friday in April which IS April 19 so sounds like we’re saying the same thing!
@CAtrasnplant The only problem with that prediction is that UC Davis has always released before UC Berkeley and UCLA…
@kristinpete ya, I don’t know, just citing the only thing I’ve seen with a guess. Berkeley is releasing earlier than usual this year apparently so this prediction was just going on last year’s Davis release. Basically … who knows!
Yea. I feel that UC Davis would want to send out decisions before UCB and UCLA because otherwise they’d really become an afterthought.
@whostolemycookie Davis sent message regarding TAG acceptance in early Nov. Did you not get it? I mean you still have to receive final but assuming nothing changed, you’re in. You did get that one, right?
@Ohm888 i did get that one but I went from full time to part time (7units) for spring semester and didnt change that on TAU until february since thats when my semester started
Ohh yeah. Well as long as you’re working that should suffice. Did you mention working at least 20 hours on TAU? If not you might want to email them that.
If I am able to remove a grade through academic renewal should I remove it or will it be too late for Davis? I will still have over 60 transferable units and it will raise my GPA. If so how would I contact them this late to let them know? Thanks
