funny, i got my financial aid update a week before i got accepted and they’ve changed my financial aid twice, while some people are still waiting for their financial aid to show up. lol

@slowmotion ya I got mine a while ago to - along with thaþ whole batch of kids who got those weird preliminary glimpses at our financial aid packages before they were taken down the next day.

however, I still haven’t heard anything, 3.8 gpa anthro majpor without tap (I so shouldve done tap, I couldve too…jeez)

they still havent “completed” mine yet…

Hey cool my whole package is showing up on the website now, though I haven’t yet been accepted.

i can see mine too !!
but decision still pending

i have a question…

but what does it mean out of state!!! i am a CA resident…

Wait until you get accepted before contacting financial aid. But if you are accepted, and it still says that, contact them.

^ thanks… and also I get to accept my award… isnt that weird??

and it also says this …

Our records show that you have not yet accepted admission to UC Davis by returning your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). MyAwards provides you with an estimate of your financial aid amounts for the given academic year should you accept admission. We encourage you to review your financial aid awards, but please do not complete any listed loan requirements unless you have submitted your Statement of Intent to Register.

After we process your Intent to Register you will be permitted to set up your UC Davis Login ID and Password and you will be able to print out the financial aid forms you need, and submit them to the Financial Aid Office. If you have already mailed your Intent to Register, please return in a few days after we process your registration.

Yeah I get the same thing. Certainly seems promising, and hopefully we’ll get a decision this week, haha.

yup yup yayy :)

NO eager2go don’t wait until your accepted to call them. They might be reviewing your application thinking your out of state. CALL THEM ASAP!!!

^ thanks, i will do so tomorrow :)

Slowmotion has a point. I retract my previous statement… contact them! Admissions is way harder for out of staters.

I can’t see anything :(

@Empathy

I can’t see anything either.

I just realized on FAFSA … i put the wrong residency… thats why UC Davis and UCR’s financial aid is showing out of state… is that going to effect my admission to other schools ? (UCD, UCSD, UCI, UCLA…etc)!!! and should I still call them tomorrow!!!

^ It shouldn’t. I don’t think they base your residency on your fafsa. The should base it on what you said in your admission app.

really?!! because I went back to my application, I put CA resident…it says that:

Lived in CA for at least 12 months CA Resident
since Dec 07, 2006

but on my FAFSA, I accidentally put in the wrong state… I just corrected it though …

^ I’m guessing. But wouldn’t that make sense? Not everyone submits a fafsa, but everyone submits an admission app.

hahahah true that… I guess i’ll just have to call and ask tomorrow :)

^ thanks for your help :)
