I am an incoming Freshman for Fall 2018 and I am wondering the importance of attending the summer orientation.
I have the opportunity to travel during the dates of the orientation so I am considering registering for the September (International and Out of State) orientation instead. I am hesitant about this decision because I know the summer orientation will introduce me to others in the same college as me as well as help me to register for classes etc. and I am not so sure how beneficial the September orientation will be.
Is it worth giving up my opportunity to travel to go to the summer orientation?
Any advice or experiences would be helpful. Thank you!
