For those who post about CS, it may be helpful if you specify it as the CS in the College of Letters and Science versus the CSE or CompEng that are both in the College of Engineering.

Computer Science and Engineering is in the College of Engineering. Computer Science is in the College of Letters and Sciences. There is a curriculum overlap for CS with the CSE major. There are not 2 separate CS majors at UC Davis like at UCB.
