Rejected but doesn’t matter I got UCSB Engineering, UW Engineering and UIUC Engineering.
UCD far better than UIUC , UW , UCSB , UMICH and UCSD

UCSB definitely ranked top “party school” in the nation, no matter who ranked it. 
Ranking depends upon a lot of different factors including intended major. Glad you are happy with your choice and major but what is a good choice for you may not be a choice for others. Please be aware one size does not fit all.
