UC Davis is evaluating my app cause made an error!

I can't believe this, I checked my junk mail today and found a very important message from UC Davis in which it states I made an error on my app.... I accidentally put I graduated from High School in a different year. -____-

"Dear XXX,

UC Davis has received your University of California undergraduate application for admission and scholarships. Thank you for your interest in our campus.

We are in the process of reviewing your application. Before we can complete our review and reach an admission decision, we need the following information from you:

****Date of High School Graduation. You list it as 2XXX in one place and 2XXX in another place on the application.

****If you graduated in 2XXX, please explain the gap in education from 2XXX to 2XXX.

We must receive this information within five days of this message date, or processing of your application may be delayed or canceled."

I already sent in the correct year. Today is the 5th and I received this on the 1st! Does this make it the 5th day or 4th day?? Man this is what I get for not checking my junk mail. My app would have been canceled! Well at least I know i'm being evaluated this soon.

Same thing happened with me for my application to UCLA. The strange thing is that I had explained the “gaps” on the application. The good news is it was a simple fix and I too answered on the fifth day. I also applied (TAG) to UC Davis. My TAG was accepted but I forgot to click the button on the application form. Anyway, I called and they said not to worry they would match up all the info. The point here is that if you are truly concerned call the admissions office. I only called three times to make sure they gave me the same answer every time…

This post has made me paranoid that I have missed an important letter because of my spam folder which I NEVER check. And all letters are automatically deleted after 3 days that are considered spam :X

^ LOL sorry… anyways i received another email and everything is cleared :)
