Reflection
Strengths: Extracurriculars, personal statements, vast improvement in grades
Weaknesses: test scores
Why you think you were accepted: I thought my personal statements were a very accurate representation of me and the way my brain/thoughts worked. My test scores were not impressive at all, but I think they accepted me because of my unique personal statements.
Where else were you accepted: accepted from UCI, SDSU, Cal Poly Pomona. Rejected from all the “dream schools”.
General Comments: I consider myself quite lucky tbh. My grades were not an accurate representation of me, and Im glad that UCD saw that. I honestly think the unpopular major I chose is also a big reason why I got accepted, but regardless Im still grateful.
