UC Davis or UC Berkeley

I applied to both Davis and Berkeley back in November and was accepted into Davis and waitlisted at Berkeley. Ended up committing to Davis but found out last week that I got accepted into Berkeley off the waitlist. My intention was to study agriculture at Davis (#1 in the world for ag) but Berkeley’s prestige has me considering attending. My major at Berkeley is Environmental Policy in the College of Natural Resources (smallest college at Berkeley and the best student-to-faculty ratio). I figure at Berkeley if I change my mind about the environment/agriculture (which I don’t plan on, but could definitely end up happening) I have a world-class degree to fall back on. I liked both campuses but Davis definitely feels more comfortable. My best friend from HS is attending Berkeley and we are planning on rooming together if I end up attending. PLEASE any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Weigh your pros and cons, and take financial aid into consideration (if that’s a priority for you too.)
I’d suggest hurrying and deciding though, from what I’ve heard you would have less than half a week to decide if you want the position at Berkeley or not so admissions can go on down the waitlist for the next wave.
Congrats tho! I’ve yet to hear from coming off Berkeley’s waitlist.

I keep hearing this world class degree. Seriously I know plenty of people with world classes degree that haven’t been able to achieve much in life.
