UC Davis or UCSD

<p>I'm torn between two great schools right now and I'm interested in hearing from other people on the academics, social life, down time, class size, and student body...appearance =]. I'm leaning toward Davis because they have a football team and football is very important in my life after playing 4 years in high school. Also, their campus is much more appealing in appearance than ucsd. I'm majoring in Aerospace engineering and I know both schools are known to have good programs, however SD is better known. I was accepted in ERC at ucsd, and from what I've read, it's not the ideal choice of the 6 colleges at all for a science or math major.</p>

<p>Anyways, any input or advice is greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>both schools are well regarded academically, ucsd probably a notch higher. But not enough to say you'd be a fool to turn it down. Given schools of roughly comparable stature, the decision turns to the more intangible factors. For you, it sounds like you prefer Davis.</p>
