UC Davis, pre-med path?

<p>So I wanted to eventually go to med school, and Davis is my number one choice for undergrad study. (I am currently a high school junior) What science related major should I apply under that's not extremely impacted (i.e. NOT biology)? What are my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Possible Majors?: Biotechnology (how hard is admission under these majors?)
Environmental science
Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior
Genetics
Psychology?</p>

<p>My stats
Freshman year GPA:3.3
Sophomore year:3.65
Junior year: 3.85 first semester, hopefully 4.0 or more second semester
SAT: 2010 first try, taking again in june
ACT: 28 first try, taking again in june
AP classes: sophomore year: Human geography scored a 5 on exam
Junior year (now): APUSH, AP english, AP Environmental Science
Senior year: AP Macro/Micro Economics, AP statistics, AP English lit.
California resident
4 year water polo player (goalie), scholar athlete
Taking summer college courses at Stanford
Taking SAT Biology test next month
Involved in Abolitionist society, medical club
running for president of Nanotechnology club</p>

<p>Nah, nor really interested in nursing, what are my chances of getting under the majors i listed?</p>

<p>Davis doesn’t have a nursing major, by the way. This is outdated, of course, having only found it by search on Davis, but assuming you’ve boosted your grades and scores you have a great chance at Davis.</p>
