I noticed that there wasn’t a thread for this. What is the admission contract that UC Davis gives to its students? I can’t seem to find it, but I found that UCLA’s was very strict in that students must notify them should they receive two or more Cs and they must maintain an unweighted academic GPA of a 3.0. Is this the case for UC Davis?
Nah Breh dw about Davis. They’re super chill about everything. Basically, just get a 3.0 WEIGHTED GPA and nothing lower than a C-(you can get a C-, just not a D or F). Even if you get one D, they’ll probably let you off the hook anyway if you email em to let them know ahead of time.
Last year I was getting an F in one of my AP classes because I was missing so much school due to illness. I emailed UCD telling them that I have an F and I probably won’t be able to pull it back up. UCD told me that they would still let me continue in the fall quarter as long as I passed the rest of my classes. For UCD, I think that it is a 3.0 weighted, but I’m not 100% sure. If you think you are going to fail a class, make sure to email admissions ASAP.
Provisional Admission contract states 3.0 weighted GPA with no D’s or F’s. I agree, email them to give them a heads up and see what they say.
