UC Davis TAG Fall 2018 Questions

Hello, I’m applying for UCD this fall for 2018 admission. my major is computer engineering and I have about 39 units left to finish. the way I planned it, I have 20 units in fall and 19 units in the spring. will college admissions reject my application because of the fact that I would have to do exceeded units during my spring semester? I have a 4.0 CGPA and have taken 37 units so far. and I’m also wondering if they take high school into consideration as well for TAG

Your CC has a transfer center and there should be counselors there familiar with TAG who can help you with questions. In any event, it is not clear what you mean by “exceeded units”. and as for high school, that does not matter unless you have AP credit from it. As a transfer student they are just looking at your college record.

exceeded units means that, the limit of unit load you can take. generally in community colleges it is 18 units but you can petition for up to 22 units. i dont know if having many units during you last semester would put you at any risk as long as you complete all the required courses from assist.
