I feel like every day is going by so slow. Has there still only been 1 wave? I really hope they don’t lag it this week because it’s nearing the end of the month.
This waiting is ridiculous. Shame on UC Davis. We shouldn’t have to wait this long.
So does anyone see the following on their page:
“We will notify you of our final admission decision by email and on this website no later than June 1.”
It used to say after June 1st. I’m just trying to gauge whether or not this change holds any significance…
Any changes to your MyAdmissions pages at all?
Mine is like that too, I don’t think it means anything. I called them earlier today and they said that they are going to send the next wave “soon”.
Guess that will be it for today. There goes one more day
Can you guys help me out and see how my chances are for applying this upcoming cycle?
De Anza College
IGETC: Will be done by end of upcoming Fall
Overall GPA after end of this spring quarter: 2.81 overall
If I get A’s in my summer classes I’ll have a 3.04 overall on my application
Want to apply for Neurobiology, but probably will apply Global Disease Bio or Natural Sciences since it looks like they’ve taken some lower GPA’s for those majors
Prequisites: Will be done with Gen Chem this summer, Bio will be done next spring since I don’t have time for it this summer (I’ve finished 6A and 6B), starting Calculus this summer and will start Organic Chem in the fall and will be on track to finish Organic Chem requirements by end of next spring.
Extracurriculars: Research Assistant at Stanford University since this October, shadowed doctors, over 200 volunteer hours with them as well
My dream is to go to UC Davis and pursue Neurobiology but I don’t know if my ideal gpa at the end of summer as a 3.04 will cut it…
My grades by each course:
Math 10 Statistics Intro: C
Biology 1 of 3: C+
Biology 2 of 3: C
Chem 1 of 3 : C+
Chem 2 of 3: C maybe C+
Sociology 1: B+
Precal 1: B
Precal 2: B
Precal 3: B
Pop Culture: A-
Economics 1: A
English 2: A
English 1: AP Credit allowed me to skip (Got a 3 on AP exam)
Psych 1: AP Credit allowed me to skip (Got a 4 on AP exam)
@cckidd12345 be optimistic, make sure your back up schools are in place though. It’s important to try to achieve the highest grades you can until you transfer, admission staff want to make sure you can handle the difficulty of university courses. Neurobiology is already a tough field of study as it is-upper division stuff is crazy.
Don’t you need 3 semesters of cal for neuro?
@Mbest16 thank you very much i really appreciate it! yeah, im really trying to buckle down and do as best as possible, and yes, I’ll be doing calc 1 in the summer, calc 1b (2/3) in the fall, calc 1c (3/3 required) in the winter quarter
Anyone got decisions yet? Because I have not
Would my acceptance be revoke if my overall GPA is now 2.79. I think your suppose to maintain a GPA of 2.80. I never got and D or F. I am really scared and my orientation is tomorrow. I was just wondering if somebody knows anybody who has my situation and still got accepted. I also did not TAG.
Prepare yourselves! Rejection is near…
Yeah, it’s more obvious than ever that I can expect a rejection email next week, nothing has changed on my admission page, it’s looking grim this year…
Hopefully, I didn’t create a self-fulfilling prophesy… I’ve been thinking this way from the start

My admission page changed back to, “Thank you for accepting our waitlist offer. Please be patient, as this process may take some time. We will notify you of our final admission decision by email and on this website no later than June 30.”, anyone else? It used to say after June 1st.
Same here.
And I don’t think that is a good sign :-?
At this point I am not taking anything positively or negatively, I just want a response to get it over with.
